Welcome to CannaMazing. These Membership Terms and Conditions govern applications for, and participation in, the CannaMazing membership community.

By submitting a membership application, you acknowledge that you have read these terms. Acceptance of an application and any applicable agreement to become a member are subject to the provisions below.

Please read these terms carefully before applying.

1. ABOUT CANNAMAZING MEMBERSHIP

CannaMazing membership is designed to provide adults with access to a community focused on plant knowledge, cultivation education, farm updates, product announcements and related learning opportunities.

Depending on availability and the applicable membership arrangements, membership may include:

  • Access to the private CannaMazing WhatsApp group.
  • Access to designated educational articles, guides and learning materials.
  • Updates from the CannaMazing farm, including cultivation progress, cultivar observations and harvest news.
  • Information about CannaMazing products, new releases and availability.
  • Announcements about workshops, educational events and other opportunities.

The specific benefits available to members may evolve as the community develops. Any material changes to membership benefits or conditions will be communicated where appropriate.

Membership does not guarantee that every resource, event or product will always be available.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATIONS

Membership applications are open to individuals aged 18 years and older, subject to applicable legal requirements.

By applying, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
  • You will use the membership resources and community responsibly.
  • You will comply with these terms and all applicable laws.

Submitting an application does not automatically constitute acceptance into the membership community.

CannaMazing may review applications and request additional information where reasonably necessary and lawful. Applicants will be informed of the outcome and any relevant next steps.

Membership may be declined or suspended where there are reasonable grounds relating to eligibility, security, misconduct, compliance or a breach of these terms.

3. WHATSAPP COMMUNITY RULES

Approved members may receive an invitation to the private CannaMazing WhatsApp group.

To maintain a useful and respectful community, members agree to:

  • Treat other members respectfully.
  • Keep discussions relevant to the community’s purpose.
  • Avoid harassment, threats, discrimination, spam and abusive conduct.
  • Respect other members’ privacy and refrain from sharing their personal information without permission.
  • Avoid posting unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or harmful material.
  • Respect the group’s rules and any reasonable instructions issued by its administrators.

Members must not use the group to arrange unlawful transactions, promote activities that are not legally authorised or encourage others to disregard applicable laws.

CannaMazing administrators may moderate discussions, remove inappropriate content, restrict participation or remove members where reasonably necessary to protect the community.

WhatsApp is a third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy practices. CannaMazing does not control the platform’s technical operation, security or availability.

Membership of a private group does not make communications absolutely confidential. Other participants may see your phone number, profile information and messages, depending on the platform’s settings. Please exercise discretion when sharing personal information.

4. EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

CannaMazing may provide educational materials in digital or other formats.

Unless otherwise stated, materials created or supplied by CannaMazing remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Members may use materials for their own personal learning, subject to any additional licence or conditions provided with the material.

Without prior permission from the relevant rights holder, members may not:

  • Republish or redistribute members-only material.
  • Sell, commercially exploit or reproduce protected resources.
  • Share restricted downloads or login credentials with unauthorised individuals.
  • Claim CannaMazing’s work as their own.
  • Remove copyright notices or other ownership information.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of CannaMazing’s intellectual property to a member.

5. EDUCATIONAL AND CULTIVATION INFORMATION

CannaMazing’s learning resources are provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Information about plant biology, cultivation, living soil, permaculture, harvesting and related subjects is not a guarantee of particular growing results. Outcomes may vary according to environmental conditions, individual practices and other factors.

Members are responsible for determining whether a proposed activity is lawful and for complying with applicable legislation, regulations, licence conditions and other legal requirements.

Membership does not grant permission to cultivate, possess, distribute, sell, supply or otherwise deal in cannabis where separate legal authority is required.

Any practical training, farm visit or other activity involving cannabis will be offered only where legally permitted and within the scope of the relevant authorisations.

6. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

CannaMazing may share information about its products, product development, launches and availability.

Membership does not guarantee access to, or the availability of, any particular product.

Any purchase or supply of products is subject to the applicable law, relevant authorisations, product-specific conditions and any separate terms governing the transaction.

Product descriptions and educational content are provided in good faith. Members should review the information, warnings, ingredients and directions relevant to a particular product before use.

Information about herbal, botanical or cannabis-related products is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. No product information should be interpreted as a guarantee of therapeutic benefit.

Members should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where they have questions about a product’s suitability, potential interactions or health implications.

7. WORKSHOPS, EVENTS AND FARM ACCESS

CannaMazing may announce workshops, learning experiences, events or other activities for members.

Availability, eligibility, capacity, location, costs and participation requirements may vary by activity. Additional terms may apply and will be communicated where relevant.

Membership does not automatically grant access to the farm, cultivation areas, restricted premises, equipment or activities requiring separate authorisation.

Members must follow all applicable safety instructions, access restrictions and reasonable directions from authorised personnel during any approved visit or event.

CannaMazing may postpone, change or cancel an activity where reasonably necessary, including for safety, operational or legal reasons. Any applicable refunds or other remedies will be handled in accordance with the relevant booking terms and applicable law.

8. MEMBERSHIP FEES

CannaMazing membership is completely free.

There are no membership fees, subscription charges or recurring payments required to join or remain a member of the CannaMazing community.

Membership provides access to the benefits described on our website, subject to these Terms and Conditions, availability and any applicable eligibility requirements.

Membership does not mean that products, workshops, events or other additional services are automatically free. Where separate charges apply to any product or optional activity, these will be clearly communicated before any purchase or booking is made.

There is no obligation for members to purchase products or participate in paid activities as a condition of maintaining their free membership.

9. ACCOUNT SECURITY AND ACCESS

Where members receive access to a website account, restricted learning area or other digital resource, they are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.

Members must not share access credentials with unauthorised individuals or attempt to bypass access controls.

Members should notify CannaMazing if they become aware of unauthorised use of their account.

CannaMazing may restrict or suspend digital access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, compliance or enforcement of these terms.

10. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

CannaMazing may collect and process personal information supplied through membership applications and subsequent interactions for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Reviewing and administering membership applications.
  • Communicating application outcomes and membership information.
  • Providing access to member resources and community channels.
  • Managing workshops, events and member enquiries.
  • Maintaining appropriate records and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy notice and South African data protection law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), where applicable.

CannaMazing will take appropriate measures to protect personal information and will not use membership information for unrelated marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.

Membership of a WhatsApp group may expose certain profile details and contact information to other participants. Members should consider this before joining.

11. MEMBER CONDUCT AND TERMINATION

Members are expected to act lawfully and comply with these terms.

CannaMazing may suspend or terminate membership where reasonably justified, including where a member:

  • Materially breaches these terms or applicable community rules.
  • Uses membership to facilitate unlawful activity.
  • Harasses or threatens other members or administrators.
  • Shares restricted content or credentials without permission.
  • Provides materially false information in an application.
  • Misuses the community in a manner that compromises its safety or proper operation.

Where appropriate, CannaMazing may provide an opportunity to remedy a breach before taking action. Immediate restrictions may be necessary where there is a serious safety, security or legal concern.

Members may request to end their membership by contacting CannaMazing through its published contact channels.

Termination of membership does not remove any legal obligations or accrued rights that continue to apply.

12. AVAILABILITY AND LIMITATIONS

CannaMazing will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to the membership resources it offers. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Digital services, communication platforms and educational resources may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party changes or circumstances beyond CannaMazing’s reasonable control.

CannaMazing may update, replace or discontinue particular resources where reasonably necessary, while respecting applicable contractual and consumer rights.

13. LIABILITY AND APPLICABLE LAW

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CannaMazing is not responsible for losses arising from a member’s independent decisions, misuse of educational information, unlawful activities or conduct outside CannaMazing’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including any applicable rights relating to fraud, gross negligence, personal injury or consumer protection.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply.

If a provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

CannaMazing may update these terms as the membership community, services or applicable legal requirements evolve.

Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required or reasonably necessary.

The updated terms will display a revised effective or last-updated date. Members may contact CannaMazing with questions about a change or request to end their membership in accordance with the applicable terms.
